i am doing a project for a class to “do something” my something is to change the school policy of making students take certain electives and wasting time and stressing students. It can be helpful but why have to take a fine art if you dont see any of those courses in your future or a language for 2-3 years when you may already know another language. I want to know the pros and cons to my project i have barely started and am researching steps. School get paid per student to pay teachers and transportation and i understand when a student isnt a “full” student the school gets less money but Allen high school gets lots of endorsements by nike and pizza hut and subway which they serve in school. the football team has won the state games 3 years in a row i believe and im sure money is flowing in.
