Enrollment and Demographic Trends for MN Charter and District Public Schools

For twenty years, CSC has analyzed data submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education on student enrollment. This analysis shows the trends and demographics of student enrollment in Minnesota, Minneapolis and St. Paul district and charter public schools.  The analysis compares overall enrollment, and enrollment by race/ethnicity, free/reduced lunch, special education, and limited English proficiency.

 

• Minnesota District-Chartered Public School Demographics and Trends, 2001-2018.  This update, completed in April, 2018 by Aaliyah Hodge with assistance from Joe Nathan, shows what has happened in Minnesota over a 17 year period.  The report is based on an analysis of data provided on the Minnesota Department of Education website.  It includes data from Minneapolis, St. Paul and statewide enrollment, demographics and trends.
